A piece of American history having spent most of its life in the States, first registered with the DVLA in September 2010. A very large history file comes with the vehicle, documenting the extensive work that’s been done since being imported, as well as the original 1950 operators manual.
Lots of work done by ‘Chev’s of the 40’s’ based in Vancouver with many parts being shipped over from the US to ensure the authenticity of the truck. Recent work includes a re-tuning and upgrade to electric ignition with a Fuel, Air, Spark Technology kit. New carbs have also been fitted making this truck an all-round great runner for its age.
A rare original survivor, most Chevy trucks of this era and platform have been tuned and upgraded to a modified spec. This example however stays pure with tasteful modifications and is a real head-turner in its golden-orange metallic paint. A rare opportunity then to enjoy a beautifully restored classic Americana commercial, that’s had thousands spent on it and been lovingly cared for.
