Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we have this excellent example of the BMW E46 M3 SMG. A low owner car with only 64, 000 miles.
This March 2006 example is one of the very last made, a superb looking convertible finished in Steel Grey metallic with a Black Nappa leather interior, Black soft top and diamond cut alloys.
Here at OCC, I feel these represent excellent value for money. The E46 M3 is a highly regarded car, at this price point, it makes for a great weekend classic. If you consider this would be at the same price point as an E30 325i Convertible auto.
This M3 comes with a lovely specification, including Heated Seats / Digital TV / Bluetooth Phone / Nappa leather / Sat Nav / Parking sensors.
This M3 benefits from a full service history, no less than 17 services, all backed up with the original service book and a folder full of old MOT’s and service receipts.
The M3 engine sounds and performs perfectly, push the Sport button, open the roof and you can’t fail to enjoy the ‘M’ engine tunes. The SMG gearbox is a manual gearbox with a hydraulic gear change, using the steering wheel paddles , or just leave in auto mode. This gearbox allows you to swap from slow gear changes when just cruising, to ultra fast changes in manual model.
The Black soft top on this car is also in superb condition, it opens and closes without any fuss.
A very enjoyable performance convertible that should prove to be a very good investment going forward.
