This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2024 - Cars on Saturday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. Built in the style that has become synonymous with James Bond and Spectre, spawning a variety of Defenders of differing specifications, with this particular example receiving the attention of Land Rover specialists, Bespoke Defenders in Harrogate, where a scheduled period of works has been completed bringing this 'Spectre'-inspired Defender back to the road.
Now finished in a verdant shade of Lamborghini Green Metallic complemented by gloss black arches and bespoke wing tops covering the Spectre Beadlock wheels and tyres that, combined with the external roll cage, make any Defender of this type instantly recognisable. Internally, the once spartan interior is now adorned with bespoke leather trim throughout which is accentuated by a full Ebony Suede interior package, gloss black centre dash facia and colour coded seat belts all highlighted by the Billet Aluminium gear and vent knobs and other stainless steel accents.
Clearly all this work would be of no benefit unless the Land Rover was mechanically enhanced, resulting in the TD5 power plant receiving a full engine refresh and remap with gasses exiting through a stainless steel exhaust system. Finally, to enhance the overall look, the running gear and suspension have been further developed to provide the lift required to accommodate those look-defining wheels and tyres.
