The first pre-production TR6s, CC25001(North American) and CP25001(home market), were finished in this stunning combo, so many refer to this as the ‘original’ TR6 color and rightly so!
‘CP’ 150 bhp car – now running beautifully on SU carburetors.
Overdrive working seamlessly
Original chassis plate and body tags, not a reproduction found on the majority of restored TR6’s especially US imports. This is a genuine and collectable example as confirmed by the Heritage Certificate.
Previous body off restoration in 2013-2015 with full 150+ photographic record on file. Now mellowed nicely with an honest patina.
This included but not limited to new floors, inner and outer sill panels, inner rear wings, boot floor, rear panel, B post, etc, etc. New seat covers, carpets, and trim, mohair hood, fuel tank, fuel lines, pump, rebuilt distributor, overhauled carburetors, new clutch, and flywheel, new wheels and bumpers. The list goes on and on and on….
Full engine and gearbox rebuild at the same time.
Fitting of a full stainless steel exhaust system.
