Appearing to be largely complete, this Royal Enfield has had 4 owners in it's history, and it is speculated that it has either never been used on the road or ridden very little, although this cannot be verified, there is some historic correspondence where the Meteor was purchased at auction in 1986 having been in storage for over 10 years. Acquired by the current custodian from a deceased estate, it is claimed that YOR 237 was dismantled when acquired but it has since been put back together. The vendor reports that the seat has been reupholstered and a new wiring loom has been fitted but not connected. The engine appeared to have good compression at the time of inspection but recommissioning will be required
