Buell Motorcycles was founded in 1983 by ex-Harley Davidson engineer Erik Buell
Buell's designs featured wheel rim mounted brake discs, fuel contained within the frame and the swing arm acting as the oil tank, these innovations were aimed at better mass centralization and lower un-sprung weight resulting in sharp nimble handling
The S1 lightning is powered by a heavily modified 1203cc Harley Davidson motor
This S1 "White Lightning" was built for one year only and had different cylinder heads giving more power than the standard S1 models
Dry stored for a significant period of time, the bike is in lovely condition but may require some recommissioning before use.
