Launched in 2006 the X150 Jaguar XK replaced the aging but ever popular XK8. From the outset Jaguar aimed to improve on the previous generation in all areas including technological advancements, driving dynamics and styling. The new XK featured a bonded aluminium monocoque with aluminium panels resulting in a saving of 91kg (200lb) over the previous generation vehicle.
