The Appeal
The second generation of Jaguar XK refined the formula of Jaguar’s GT: curvaceous styling, a luxuriously appointed cabin and, particularly in supercharged XKR form, crushing performance. The ‘X150’ models featured more sophisticated styling, courtesy of design legend Ian Callum, and all-aluminium construction. In 2009, the car received larger, 5.0-litre engines and updated transmission with rotary gear selector, further raising performance levels.
This is a completely original and very well-presented 2010 example of the XKR coupé, in metallic Vapour Grey. Apart from two chips in the passenger door, the exterior, including the 20-inch wheels, demonstrate only small marks that are commensurate with the car’s age.
Inside, the cream perforated leather seats are free of obvious imperfections, and the buyer states that everything is in good working order.
The seller purchased the car in earlier this year, and had it serviced in September 2026. While the there is no service book with the car, the online Jaguar system shows a service at 56,000 miles.
The seller states that everything on the car works as it should, and that the suspension operates with no knocks or noises. Both the engine bay and underside of the car are very tidy. The seller states that the car comes with a Warranty Wise Platinum warranty.
This XKR is a fine example of Jaguar’s capable and desirable grand tourer. The seller states: “This car is fabulous to drive – when accelerating the noise makes the hairs on your neck stand up – yet surprisingly efficient when cruising. It is fast and refined, with virtually imperceptible gear changes. It’s a great all-rounder, and the cabin is a fabulous place to be.” It is now ready for a new owner to enjoy its many abilities.
