S, for Manufacture de Voitures de Sport, then renamed Venturi in 1990, the brand produced 188 examples of its M. V. S Venturi 260 coupé between 1989 and 1996. Of these 188 examples, between 1989 and 1990, 60 were produced as a special 'no catalytic converter' SPC series. Our example, which left the Cholet factory in 1989, is a true rarity. It is one of the rare 260 SPCs produced under the M. V. S brand rather than the Venturi name. It is also the ninth chassis to leave the factory. In remarkable condition, the exterior of this pretty Frenchwoman comes in an attractive Rapsodie Yellow. Inside, we find black leather in excellent condition. Acquired by its current owner 6 years ago, the car has only had 2 owners, and its legendary 2. 8L PRV engine, the Garrett T3 V6 Turbo, has only covered 100, 000 km. Coupled with a short gearbox, its 260 bhp are just waiting to be unleashed. What's more, this mechanical cathedral has been pampered, running exclusively on Motul 300V 5W40 Compétition, not to mention the regular servicing carried out on time, most recently in May 2024. A major service was also carried out at 78, 000 km, including removal of the powertrain, and the car's roadworthiness test is, of course, clean and will be repeated for the sale. The car's history is well known, complete and clear, and there's a file to back it up. Finally, to finish on a high note, this M. V. S 260 SPC is accompanied by two expert reports, the first in 2021, the second in May 2023. The expert has valued the car at €60, 000, and the owner wishes to sell it for €62, 000. To mark Classic Days 2024, and to celebrate the brand's 40th anniversary, this magnificent M. V. S 260 SPC has been signed by its two creators, Gérard Godfroy and Claude Poiraud. Ma Youngtimer is in charge of placing the ad, as the vehicle does not belong to us. Please do not hesitate to ask us for the owner's contact details. Sincerely, Calvin Fatin.
