Originally developed at the request of Giovanni Agnelli, who wanted to meet a military demand from various European countries for a small all-terrain vehicle that could be parachuted and stored easily, the Jungla was also produced in a civilian version. The various European countries produced their own versions, France with the Citroën Méhari, the UK with the Mini Moke, Germany with the VW 181, and Italy with the Jungla.
The Jungla benefited from the chassis, engine and front axle of the Fiat 600, which appeared in 1955, the shorter differential of the Multipla, and the rear axle of the Fiat 110. In 1974, 4 examples of the Fiat Jungla were produced especially for the Principality of Monaco, under the name Kelly 600, in homage to Princess Grace. Most of the Jungla examples produced were for the Italian army, the civil guarda, and the Italian water and forestry services. It is estimated that only 500 were produced for civilian use. The Fiat Italy Club's count puts the number at around 400, of which only two were produced in France, so this is an almost exclusive car! The pretty Junga we are offering is in beautiful condition, with black imitation seats and benches in good condition, and a black cloth soft top also in good condition.
