The Silver Spirit was introduced in 1980 as the successor to the Silver Shadow. It retains the proven 6. 75 litres L series V8 engine along with the advanced hydropneumatic self levelling suspension from the Silver Shadow. This Silver Spirit II also benefits from the introduced automatic hydraulic ride control and pressurised gas shock absorbers improving the composure of the car over bumps and through corners.
