Description

DESCRIPTION

A highly original car in excellent condition that is mechanically on the button. The car is in its original colour combination of Windsor Blue over a Mushroom hide interior with dark blue piping.

Low mileage with comprensive proof from new, as well as extremely regular servicing exclusively carried out by specialists or Rolls-Royce themselves. This example has been pampered all its life and will be sold complete with paper work backing up its absolutely incredible history.

Serviced last at 40, 861 miles on 16th July 2026 by rolls-Royce Specialist. The last MOT was advisory free, while in the last year it has had nearly eight thousand pounds spent with marque specialists who also carried out a major service, since which the car has been used for a number of significant road trips without fault; even the air-conditioning blows cold.

I have created an extensive illustrated history write-up on the car, interested parties must make contact so I can forward this report (as well as additional photographs) in order explain how special of an example is offered here.

Complete with original booklets, tool kit, both sets of keys as well as invoices and paperwork daying back to the first year of registration. HISTORY

Sold new in 1988 for circa £85, 000 (£240, 000 with inflation) to its first owner, whos company, Arrow Plastics Ltd, made signage for the likes of Shell, Texaco, Nissan and Ford. For his efforts in the industry he recieved an MBE in 1986.

The second owner was founder of Technophone, a pioneering company competing in its day with Motorola in the emerging mobile phone market of the 1980s. This owner was later a director of Nokia UK and bought the Rolls for £41, 500 (£92, 000 with inflation) just three weeks after he resigned from his position.

The third owner acquired the car in 2020. He began his career in London as a trader for Shell, but has spent the last thirty years working for oil and gas giant Chevron, lastly as Corporate Vice President.

The current and fourth owner is also a businessman and engineer, who trained the men to use the deep sea equipment that recovered the body of Donald Campbell and his record-breaking Bluebird K7 from the bed of Coniston Water. Campbell set the water speed world record in his Bluebird in 1964 at a speed of 276. 33 mph and was the only man to ever hold the land and sea speed world records simultaneously. However, he was sadly killed during an attempt to beat his record in 1967 at the aforementioned Coniston Water.
