Beskrivning
HERE is a 1954 Sunbeam Talbot 90 drop head couple. It is a Mark IIA model and, as such, one of last convertibles produced as the company was about to launch the Mark III and they were saloons only.
An attractive example finished in gleaming black with contrasting red leather interior and red hood. I have driven her ten miles or so and she performed admirably in all gears. A very pleasurable classic to drive and highly usable with that Rootes Group 2267cc engine.
A car that can be used right away and left just as it is. The choice is down to the next owner. Until last year, it had only been in the ownership of four people. Not bad for a 70-year-old car! Some room for cosmetic improvement perhaps but, as I say, not essential. On the button and with a super tank-like chassis!
Not to be missed at my price.
