A highly original never painted and never welded matching numbers totally unmolested 1974 MG Midget 1275 RWA with just a remarkable genuine 19155 miles from new.
An unrepeatable exceptional car which would be hard to better !
We first purchased this outstanding car from its one and only owner in February 2021 with just 18448 miles from the widow of the late owner.
This car has been cherished and totally pampered and NEVER seen a drop of paintwork!
We sold the Midget very quickly after purchasing it to a gentleman in rural Essex who kept it for three years in a heated garage who only used it on high days and holidays and covered approximately 550 miles in it and then only due to a house move which had a smaller garage he decided to sell the car back to us which we were delighted to have it again.
We then sold the car again in August 2024 to a lovely guy in a stunning farm house located in the Suffolk countryside who bought it as he had an “itch that needed scratching “ and only put another 150 miles on the car until which point we purchased it again.
So basically I have met and dealt with the three peopke who have owned it from new which is a real rarity to know a car’s entire history and owners from new.
The Midget comes with a fantastic amount of paperwork including original bill of sale, original service book and handbooks, workshop manuals old mot certificates, spare keys, sales brochure’s and service invoices.
The body is excellent with its factory paint and panel gaps, very straight down the sides and the harvest gold paint has an excellent shine considering it is 50 years old .
The engine is excellent and smooth with 60psi oil pressure.
The chrome work is still amazing as is the underneath.
The black vinyl hood is original and has really clear windows.
There is a full tonneau cover as well as the small hood cover.
The Midget comes with a full tonneau cover, a small hood cover and an indoor breathable cover.
Our pictures are from July 2024 ( 9 months ago and 150 miles ) but as you can imagine it has not changed at all other than having a new mot which is valid until March 2026.
