Description
This 911 started life as a C16 3. 2 Cabriolet and was delivered by AFN Porsche in late 1983 as a 1984 model year car. It is finished in Gold metallic with a brown leather interior and soft top roof and features the following:
Electric roof
Central locking
Fuchs style alloy wheels (16” 7J and 9J)
Electric windows
5 Speed manual gearbox
Headlamp washers
It has led an interesting life as in 1988 with around 24k miles recorded it visited Dage Sport Ltd and had one of their DS935 steel conversions carried out which featured the following:
Wide Turbo style flat front wings with pop up lights
DS935 side sills
Wide Turbo style rear wings
Turbo front spoiler
Full respray of entire car due to new bodywork
In later years the flat nose wings were removed due to unreliable headlight motors causing issues and it reverted to standard style wide front wings as it is now presented.
It is now able to be registered as a Historic vehicle with the DVLA and therefore will be zero cost for road tax / ULEX compliant etc – we are happy to arrange this for the next owner.
It comes with a large service history file detailing all of the work carried out by Dage Sport Ltd and also MOT certificates etc through the years. It has now covered 87k miles and has recently (2024) had a lot of remedial and servicing work carried out at a cost of around £9, 000 after a long period of little use which included the following:
Clutch cable and clevis pin replacement
Wheel bearings
Gearbox oil service
Replacement seat belts
Brake hose replacement
Replacement rear brake calipers
Full service of engine including leads/ coil/ dist. cap and arm/ spark plugs
Complete exhaust system
Alternator
Engine bay wiring loom
Oil level sensor and sender
