Very rare coachbuilt Auto Union 1000, the "MilleSpecial" Coupe' by CARROZZERIA FISSORE of Savigliano, Turin.
Only one owner from new, purchased new in Rome has always remained in Rome, still with the first Rome registration and the first license plate (still registered).
Never completely restored, all original, complete, sound. Just finished a comprehensive mechanical restoration, brand new tires. I choose not to refresh the old original paint in order to keep the amazing patina. The interior was just professional cleaned and now it looks “as new”. It drives perfectly. One family owner from 1960 to 2024.
Always kept in a dry garage in Rome.
Never restored.
Still registered in Rome, with its original Rome plate.
