Very rare Auto Union DKW 1000 “MilleSpecial” coupe’ by Carrozzeria Fissore.
One family owner from 1960 to 2024.
Always kept in a dry garage in Rome.
Never fully restored.
Still registered in Rome, with its original Rome plate.
After a professional mechanical recommissioning and brand new tires and battery, now the car drives perfectly with brilliant performances and excellent road manners.
The paint still remains untouched and not-refreshed in order to keep the original patina. The body and the undercarriage are extremely sound, rust-free and accident free, without any dent. Panel gaps are perfect. Doors, bonnet, trunk aspen and close perfectly.
The interior was just cleaned, now it looks really like new. It was not reupholstered, everything is original as when the car left Carrozzeria Fissore workshop.
A real time-warp of a bygone era, when Italian Carrozzieri could tailor a new cloth on every automobile. Even the smell is from the ‘60s.
