Description
The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced from 1923 until 1939. It was nicknamed the "Baby Austin" and was, at that time, one of the most popular cars produced for the British market. Its effect on the British market was similar to that of the Model T Ford in the US, replacing most other British economy cars of the early 1920s.
This Austin 7 RN was first registered on the 9th June 1932, in Chelmsford Essex.
The car starts and runs very well, and has recently had a full engine rebuild which we have the receipt for. It has also had a brand new radiator as well as an exhaust.
The drivetrain is in good order and has had a new clutch which we have the invoice for, as well as an uprated flexible coupling along with upgraded brakes and cables.
The body work is in good order, there is no corrosion to the underside and it is clean and tidy. The paintwork isn't immaculate but it does polish and shine up nicely.
The interior was retrimmed at the time of the restoration and is as good as the day it was fitted, with no rips and tears. Indicators have been fitted for modern day driving.
The V5 is present as well as some paperwork and history.
