Fitted with an electric starter together with an alternator from a Citroen 2CV
Magneto is replaced by two sets of points mounted outside the timing cover
The alternator occupies the space where the battery would normally be positioned
The battery is now located in the sidecar
The bike runs ok but will need re-commissioning The tacho will need attention
