A true legend of the sport-touring world, the Kawasaki ZZR1100 (also known as the ZX-11 in some markets) was the fastest production motorcycle in the world when it launched – and it still holds its own today as one of the smoothest and most capable long-distance machines of its era. Powered by Kawasaki’s 1, 052cc inline-four engine, the ZZR1100 was said to offer effortless performance with bags of torque and a silky-smooth ride.
This 1997 Kawasaki ZZR1100 has had one previous owner from new and was sold to the current owner in 2014 by the then vendor, who only sold it because he dropped it at the petrol station and subsequently lost confidence with the machine. During the current ownership, this ZZR1100 has been used on some road trips and has been a pleasure to ride. The current mileage is reading just a mere c. 2, 456 miles, which is believed to be genuine, judging from the MOT check history. The overall condition is 'good', with some very light marks from when it was dropped. Not used by the current vendor since 2021 and will now need some light recommissioning before use, although it has been started regularly. The Kawasaki is accompanied by a current V5C and a service book.
