Named after the title character of the Beumarchais comic opera and meeting a ‘retro’ trend then sweeping Japan, the Nissan Figaro is a front-engined, front-wheel drive, two-door 2+2 convertible featuring smooth 1950s-inspired bodywork.
The Emerald Green example on offer here used to belong to Ray Mallock, legendary former racing driver, renowned automotive engineer and Chairman of RML
Ray bought the car in 2012 and asked his team to strip and complete a ground-up rebuild of the Figaro to his exacting standards
The current owner, the original Director of Jaguar Land Rover Heritage, bought the Figaro from our auction last year and has recently treated it to a light mechanical recommission
The Figaro has been kept in heated storage during current and Ray’s former ownership
Fresh MOT now valid until August, 2026. The odometer reading was 77, 288km so it has only covered 622km (389 miles) since completion of the restoration in early 2013
