A completely unique bespoke built 1972 MG Midget 1330 cc Speedster.
Can be used with Brooklands aero screens or the adapted Frogeye screen held with 4 bolts and interchangeable within a couple of minutes.
Big spec Cooper S spec engine, bored to 1330cc , unleaded engine fully rebuilt, re profiled fast road cam, Aluminium radiator, Duplex timing chain, lightened flywheel, ported and polished Stage 2 head, hardened crank, full stainless steel sports exhaust, new inlet and exhaust valves, new oil pump, competition clutch, alloy fuel tank, body converted to speedster spec using all steel, frenched rear lights, chrome knock on wires.
The Midget has no windows or external door handles, no roof but has a full bespoke build mohair tonneau cover.
Comes with a vast amount of paperwork dating back to the seventies and over £28000 in bills and receipts.
The interior is beautifully finished with its Red leather Bucket seats, Red carpets, period Moto Lita steering wheel and stripped bare metal dash with a fabulous patena and cream Smith’s dials.
This is the most exhilarating Midget that we have ever had and drives so so well !
A very quick and well sorted car which handles superb and has the most addictive sound track.
Supplied new in 1972 and exported to Cyprus and brought back to the UK and reregistered in 1975 hence the ‘N’ plate.
