By the late 1950s, Jaguar was a force to be reckoned with after several wins at Le Mans and already producing great cars such as the XK range. The Mark 2 was another William Lyons masterpiece with its compact sports saloon body and range of powerful six-cylinder race-bred engines.

She has enjoyed restorative maintenance including a repaint in 2012 and in 2023 a full high quality interior refurbishment costing thousands inc leather, seats, wood, door panels, carpets, headlining etc The best MK2 interior I have ever seen.

The original engine has been rebuilt by Jaguar specialists VSE including unleaded cylinder head and only covered a few thousand miles since and the Moss gearbox works well with good synchros and overdrive.
