Description
BMW E30 325i touring (sport) 1990.
Regrettably selling my E30 325i Sport touring. 91*** miles. A car with high specification from new including Lazerblau metallic paint, creme sports leather interior, headlight wash wipe and factory A/ C. In my ownership the car has benefited from fresh paint and the fitting of an original Mtech II body kit, wheel refurbishment and new tyres. In addition, I have fitted the following in order to achieve the Mtech II sport experience:
3:64 Limited Slip Differential
370 mm Mtech II steering wheel
Genuine alcantara headlining from a European sport touring, shipped from Germany
Bilstein B6 suspension with H&R springs (not E30 sport OEM suspension but an acceptable upgrade over the impossible to find new, genuine, touring Mtech springs!)
Obviously, in my ownership the car has benefited from extensive servicing which includes the following major services to name a few:
Cam belt/ water pump etc change not 500 miles ago
Valve clearance adjustment
New OEM exhaust from BMW
New fuel pump
New starter motor
New battery
New heater matrix
New emergency switch/ central locking relay and door actuators
New clutch slave cylinder
Where possible I have used genuine OEM parts sourced from BMW.
In my ownership the car has had 5 MOTs and passed each one with no advisories. MOT tester/ s and garage technicians have always commented how ‘straight and clean’ the car looks, with no evidence of rot or welding particularly underneath. To my knowledge the car has never been welder nor does it need any. There is no under seal of sorts on the car, a job which was on my list but I have not yet completed. This will give potential buyers the chance to see the underside of the car ‘bare’, not hiding anything under a layer of grease!
The car drives as it should, strong engine that pulls as it should in all gears and is lots of fun to drive with the addition of the LSD and sports suspension. This touring was always intended to be a driver (if not daily) and never a garage queen. I have perhaps driven no more than 500 miles in the car in my ownership. I have a lot of affection for this car, as does my young (ish) children and this is the reason for the sale. Their interest in old BMWs and insistence to be ferried everywhere in ‘Petunia’ (yes she has a name!) means I ideally need a bigger car. Still an older BMW and perhaps with a ‘M’ badge but bigger nonetheless. Unfortunately my lack of sufficient garage and storage space means one car has to go and this is the one.
The car is priced in accordance with both similar and non-similar 325i tourings that have sold recently or are currently available both here in the UK and on the continent. I have earlier this year also sold my other E30 touring so have a little recent experience in the mad world of E30 sales. Whilst obviously any asking price is open to ‘discussion’, this is not a fire sale and messages of “I know the market, 10k cash tomorrow bro’” will obviously be ignored.
