The successor to a noble lineage, it benefits from the latest evolution of the in-house naturally-aspirated 6-cylinder engine, the famous S54! Howling at over 8000 revs, with an absolutely unique metallic sound, this engine is the perfect accompaniment to an accomplished and efficient chassis. This generation will also see the introduction of an even more powerful CSL version, for 'Coupé Sport Lightweight', the flagship of the M3 E46. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The model on offer is a 2002 M3 E46 Coupé Phase 1, with a French manual gearbox and a rare Topaz Blue Metallic paintwork finish. The vehicle is in superb condition, having benefited from rigorous maintenance and extensive mechanical restoration work, including a complete rebuild of the engine top. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ CONFIGURATION Our M3 was delivered new in January 2002 by the BMW dealer in Saarbrücken. The last service was carried out in July at 281, 000 km. In the past, the vehicle has benefited from a large number of maintenance and mechanical restoration operations, with invoices totalling over €35, 000 over the last 10 years. The GoodYear Eagle F1 front tyres are 2 years old and show approximately 40% wear (5mm tread depth). The brake discs and pads have less than 20, 000 kms and are in very good condition. There are no costs to be expected. CONDITION The bodywork was repainted in 2021 and is in excellent condition. There is some rubbing on the left-hand side of the front bumper. The 19″ CSL-type wheels are in very good condition, with no scratches or dents, with the exception of some rubbing around the left front rim. The interior is in very good condition. There are no major defects in the upholstery, just slight traces of wear. The condition of the leather is above average for a car of this mileage, attesting to the care taken by its last owners. The gear knob was replaced when the short shift was fitted in 2022 (original BMW). All the electrical equipment is in perfect working order, with the exception of the sunroof blackout flap, which has been removed because it no longer slides properly and therefore needs to be replaced.
