The Mercedes SL has been with us since 1954, growing from strength to strength with each model produced; this fifth-generation R230 took the SL to new levels. Launched in 2001, the R230 design was much sleeker and smoother than its predecessor, and it also came with much more technology.
Presented here is the full fat SL500 with the legendary M113 5. 0L V8 producing an effortless 300bhp which is mated to a silky smooth auto gearbox making for the ideal cruiser.
This example features the sought after Brilliant Silver Metallic exterior over a full Grey leather interior. The specification on this one is lovely featuring AMG style wheels which are in fantastic condition, Bose sound system, satellite navigation, heated seats and plenty more refinements that you would expect for an SL500.
This example presents in fantastic condition with very few imperfections both internally and externally. This is probably thanks to its low mileage of just 59k and careful ownership. It has been in the last custodians hands for the past circa 13 years where we believe it was garage/ dry stored.
Clearly the car has been kept in fine fettle boasting no warning lights on the dash, a superb service history and a very tidy interior and exterior to top it.
The car was subject to an interim engine oil service in February of 2025 and comes with a valid advisory free MOT until the same time next year.
