Description

The Austin Seven Ulster, first introduced in 1929, was the sports model of the celebrated Austin Seven range and is today regarded as one of the most iconic small-capacity racing cars of the interwar period. Produced in limited numbers, the Ulster combined a lightweight two-seat sports body with spirited performance from its 747cc engine, making it a favourite for privateer racers and early members of the Vintage Sports-Car Club. This Austin is great for hill climbs and trailing.

Offered here is a fine example, registered in July 1930, finished in a striking aluminium boat tail body type with two-seat configuration. Equipped with a 3-speed gearbox, this Ulster exemplifies the compact yet purposeful design that cemented Austin’s reputation for accessible performance.

This car is accompanied by historic club documentation, charting its involvement with the Vintage Sports-Car Club, adding provenance and depth to its history.

With its combination of originality, desirable sporting specification, and documented club history, this Ulster represents an outstanding opportunity to acquire one of the most celebrated British sports cars of the 1930s.
