Beskrivning
HERE IS an early Triumph Herald, registered in June 1962. A delightful little runabout which is so solid in the right places. I even show one photo of the original (yes, 63-year-old) carpet being lifted on the passenger side to show just how well this car has been cared for.
With a mileage of just 45, 000 believed to be correct, she has covered just 7k in the past 41 years and a mere 2k in the course of the past three decades. Now recently re-commissioned and ready for its next owner. A very pretty Herald and also look at the condition of the boot for an example of its gentle life. There you see the spare wheel well and also a photo of the original boot matting which still has press studs to hold it down and the 63-year-old strap to carry the jack!
She has a sweet engine as you would imagine and a nice little history files with old MoTs and stacks of bills. Recent work this year includes clutch and brake master cylinders as well as clutch slave, full clutch assembly, rebuilt brakes, new voltage regulator, rear driveshaft Universal joints, engine and gearbox mountings, fuel pump and carb accelerator diaphram, plugs, air filter, oil filter and valve springs. So, all in all, a nice little piece of giving the old girl everything she required after a period of hibernation!
It is never easy to find a bonny, highly usable classic car for under 4k - or even for under 5k come to that - but here we have just the car. Easy on the eye and a doddle to drive and handle.
Also comes with a very nice transferable registration number.
