1973 SE5a with 4 speed manual non overdrive.
I purchased the car two years ago and have spent many hours and quite a few penny's bringing this car back to a good standard.
Work done includes new front calipers, soft and hard lines, new pads, rebuilt rear brakes and new hard lines, rebuilt master cylinder, new servo, new brake light switch.
All electrics bar the reversing lights work, new fuse board fitted, new 10v regulator.
Stainless tank with new sender unit.
Stainless exhaust system.
New electronic ignition, coil and spark plugs.
New steering wheel, new carpet and underlay. New under bonnet insulation, replacement engine bay light, new front seat belts. New rubber seals for hatch and door openings plus around door frames and windscreen.
Some coolant hoses replaced, coolant flush.
New screen washer bottle and pump.
Wheels refurbished, new stainless wheels nuts and centre cap plus running correct profile tyres.
Lots of other bits and work done.
Chassis is solid and has been protected with bol wax injection and waxoyl coating.
All bearings and trunnions greased.
Paint is fair, lots of chips, scratches and flaking but it's on there and suits the car in terms of having lived a life. Bit of crazing here and there a some micro blistering but it is micro.
Chrome is in fair condition.
The car drives well with great oil pressure, stays at 85 degrees coolant temp and fan works as it should.
I recently done 120 trouble free miles and the car sat at 70mph with no problem and with plenty left to spare.
Nice original looking car with wiring left un-butchered.
