This list shows substantial mechanical and electrical work, parts replacement, and general investment into the car’s restoration and roadworthiness.
As ever with cars of this vintage, there are improvements still to be made which I am happy to discuss - none are expensive or time consuming - I just hadn’t got round to doing it yet sadly.
Please do inquire if you have any questions - I will always give honest answers. Here’s your chance to own a true British classic – my 1972 Reliant Scimitar. This iconic shooting brake blends timeless design with practical charm, and it’s a real head-turner wherever it goes.
The car is in good condition overall, having had a lot of important work done in recent years. It drives very well, feels tight on the road, and offers that unmistakable vintage motoring experience. It sounds fantastic – a proper growl that brings a smile every time you fire it up – and the smell of the cabin is pure nostalgia.
There are a few areas that could use a bit of attention, but nothing major or expensive. With a little love, this Scimitar could be brought up to a very high standard.
Selling reluctantly due to a recent move and lack of time to give it the attention it deserves. It’s a wonderful car and deserves to be enjoyed.
Serious inquiries only, please. Come see it, hear it, smell it and hopefully love it like I have!
