Description

HERE is a fine example of the much loved Morris Oxford farina model. She is a 1968 car with five owners from new, although one owner clearly loved the old girl do much that he owner her twice! So, in effect, just four owners! The V5 states just one owner from new until 2021 - a whopping 53 years.

She comes with an MoT until August 2026 (no advisories) and is a very pretty and obviously solid example. Drive-wise she is one of the finest Farinas I have come across, showing mega strong oil pressure. One of my photos shows the oil pressure gauge after a ten-mile drive (not the temp gauge sits nicely in the centre).

Finished in what will have been her original fawn colour with cream roof, the red leather interior acts as a delightful contrast. These cars are so, so comfortable and pleasing to drive and she has clearly been well cared for in order to be able to drive like she does.

She has the feel of a Farina exuding confidence. A classic to be used and very probably on a regular basis. There's one or two paint imperfections here and there, but nothing to detract from the vehicle's overall impressive appearance.
