1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible | one owner car | US import
First owner car from North Carolina with 102, 485 miles and no accident history (VIN report verified). Straight and solid body in original British Racing Green; still shiny but with age-related wear and minor touch-ups. Right front wing and passenger door were repainted in the past. Automatic soft top works well; the fabric shows normal ageing. Jaguar badges on body and wheels are missing.
Beige (SDZ Kashmere) leather interior with visible wear on steering wheel, driver’s seat, door panel and centre console. Two keys, one with remote. No manuals.
Mechanically healthy: starts, runs and drives well. Evidence of regular servicing (sticker + invoices). Known minor issues: missing engine covers, small leak at transmission oil pan gasket, slight friction sound from brakes, and occasional “stability control fail” warning—likely ABS wheel sensor (noted on last Jaguar dealer invoice). Michelin tyres with good tread; wheels could use cleaning or repaint later.
Charming detail: previous owner clearly used the car for golfing—golf balls and memorabilia still in the boot.
