Fresh in from Japan we have this fantastic 1984 Yamaha TY250 Scottish. This lovely example has only covered 5, 494 km or around 3, 443 miles. She starts, runs and rides without issue and is supplied on an age related plate with 6 months warranty. A full service has been completed along with new oil and genuine Yamaha air filter. Mot and RFL exempt. ULEZ compliant.

The Yamaha TY250 53Y is a late-generation trials motorcycle from the TY series, produced in the early 1980s. It features a lightweight frame, responsive suspension, and a 246cc two-stroke engine tailored for observed trials riding.

• Model Code: 53Y refers to a specific frame/ engine designation used in Yamaha’s internal coding for TY250 models around 1983–1984.
• TY Series Origins: The TY250 was first introduced in 1973, developed in collaboration with trials champion Mick Andrews. It became a benchmark for trials bikes through the 1970s and early 1980s.
• 53Y Variant: This version represents one of the final evolutions of the air-cooled TY250 before Yamaha transitioned to the TY250R monoshock and later liquid-cooled models.
