She starts, runs and rides without issue and is supplied on an age related plate with 6 months warranty. A full service has been completed along with new oil and genuine Yamaha air filter. Mot and RFL exempt. ULEZ compliant.

The Yamaha TY250 53Y is a late-generation trials motorcycle from the TY series, produced in the early 1980s. It features a lightweight frame, responsive suspension, and a 246cc two-stroke engine tailored for observed trials riding.
• Model Code: 53Y refers to a specific frame/ engine designation used in Yamaha’s internal coding for TY250 models around 1983–1984.
• TY Series Origins: The TY250 was first introduced in 1973, developed in collaboration with trials champion Mick Andrews. It became a benchmark for trials bikes through the 1970s and early 1980s.
• 53Y Variant: This version represents one of the final evolutions of the air-cooled TY250 before Yamaha transitioned to the TY250R monoshock and later liquid-cooled models.
