The Volkswagen 1303 Cabriolet, produced in the 1970s, represents the final evolution of the legendary Maggiolino line. Characterised by a more modern nose, improved front suspension, greater interior space and superior driving comfort compared with the earlier models, the 1303 was regarded as the technical pinnacle of the Beetle range before production ended. The cabriolet version, built by Karmann, is today among the most sought-after for its elegance, reliability and timeless charm.
