Description
Youngtimer, Subaru Justy model year 1997, five-door, 50 kW, 155 km/ h, colour dark green.
The vehicle was driven by my daughter and is now being sold with a heavy heart, as there are no child-seat anchor points.
Equipment: driver and passenger airbags, electric front windows, digital radio;
Winter tyres with 6 mm tread depth, summer tyres on alloy wheels with 7 mm tread (nearly new),
When bought on 16 May 2019 the odometer was around 84, 000 km; now 111, 560 km.
Back then I bought it despite an engine failure (piston seizure, due to running with too little oil) because it was rust-free and in very good condition for its model, which is now rare.. The engine was swapped from a different car with similar mileage. Since then it runs reliably.
I kept the important spare parts: central fuel injection unit, headlight, starter, alternator, driveshafts. The exhaust was replaced a year ago.
The vehicle passed the TÜV inspection without issues until 11/ 2027, with a green badge (4).
The paint is original, without sun damage. The front brakes squeal on the motorway due to corrosion from sitting for too long. The windscreen has a crack in one corner, not flagged at the last inspection. On the front panel there are two paint flaws from a parking incident. The vehicle structure is undamaged. The steering wheel is a touch off-centre because a tracking rod cannot be adjusted.
The electric front windows have been fairly stiff since purchase. An oil change is due.
From the owners’ records it shows the first owner sold the vehicle in March 2011. There were four more owners until my purchase in 2019.
Thanks to the all-wheel drive with a viscous coupling, the light 915 kg and the good ground clearance, the winter characteristics are excellent.
