The Harley-Davidsons 'Sportster' range first appeared in 1957 and has been a lynch pin in the H-D line up ever since
The 1998 XL1200S Sportster Sport was a performance-orientated version of the standard Sportster, featuring a dual-disc front brake setup, high-compression heads, hotter cams, fully adjustable cartridge-type front forks and adjustable gas reservoir rear shocks for improved handling and power
The bike featured cosmetic details like black cylinders with polished fin ends and a unique aluminium powder finish on engine cases, giving it a purposeful and somewhat aggressive look
This 1998 example is in running condition and features a raft of performance upgrades including being converted to chain drive, a stronger under-braced alloy swing-arm, along with Hagon shocks and uprated forks
It also has uprated brakes with twin-disc front with Harrison billet 4-*** callipers and billet rear calliper, a 2-1 extractor exhaust and an S&S intake
Supplied with a current V5C, some service and MOT history and a list of all upgrades
