Description

Survivor.
All numbers match.
Early Sept 1970 model built at the Hamtramck (Michigan) plant
GB2 colour (light blue metallic) redone by a former owner in a matte finish. Black interior.
Known origin (including the Brussels dealer and the first owner)
Never crashed, panel alignment is perfect.
VIN present(LL29B1B145923), original papers and build sheet available

The car has almost always slept in a garage since 1971.

CGF collection in my name (I bought it in 2020)
CT valid until July 2025, so due for renewal.

Export model (Belgium), odometer in Km, front disc brakes, non-assisted steering, original black vinyl roof, nice interior with semi-bucket black imitation leather seats.

6 cylinders 3. 7 L (198 ci), 4-speed manual A-833 gearbox

Very good overall condition, although the lower sill on the right side would benefit from being replaced (it’s invisible unless you go underneath).
The floors and trunk floor are nickel.
Exhaust line entirely stainless from manifold to exhaust tip.
Large 26-inch radiator refurbished (original E-body 1971)
Clutch 10 inches new.
Recent battery
New tyres
New shocks
Adaptors wide bolt pattern 114. 3 x 5
Brake master cylinder and brake booster new
Trunk mats new
Lux steering wheel (original B-body)
Electrical system redone and upgraded, everything works perfectly.
Original jack present with all its accessories and the Mopar original stickers

Sold with many new and used parts: its original A-230 3-speed transmission, 4 sets of wheels: rally, Magnum 500 and steelies with dog dishes, original steel wheels with hubcaps (all with new tyres and 14 inch), rear wheel cylinders new, exhaust manifold, one new black carpet, instrument cluster, steering wheel, 1971 mastervac to redo, various seals, etc etc... (I detail nothing)

Warning: the car has a new electronic Petronix ignition and a refurbished carburettor but IT RUNS POORLY. It starts but it stumbles, jerks.
It needs a proper tune, which I am unable to do. So you would have to take it on a trailer... and arrange another vehicle to tow away the many parts delivered with it...!!!
I should note that before upgrading to electronics and changing the carb it ran very well (it just had trouble starting in cold weather because there was no starter).
There's also a “clong-clong” at the rear on rough roads. I have changed the silent blocks of the twin blades, but the noise persists. Maybe the front SBs or a bad blade, I don't know.

In short, not much to do to get it back on the road.
It's a great base without having to rebuild everything as is often the case with Mopars.
Leave as-is or upgrade to V8.
It would deserve a 318, or even a 340, but logistically and financially it's not feasible for me.
Even with a 6-cylinder engine it's still a rare model, even in the USA, far rarer than its Duster cousin.

€15, 000
Only possible trades: MGB roadster with stainless grille and LHD (or possibly Mercedes W114 Coupe pre-1973 or GTV 2. 0 Inox coupe)
The car is viewable and will be to collect in Narbonne (11100).
