1988 Mercedes-Benz 300SL R107
A truly wonderful car which has had a small fortune spent on it within the last 6 months including a bare metal repaint in its original colour of Light Ivory and a fully refurbished / renewed interior in Brown, refurbished braking system, two new old stock front wings, replaced rear arches, new Bilstein suspension etc.
The 107 looks a picture in its period colour scheme particularly with the Mocha mohair hood or looking equally as nice with its factory hard top which comes with a hard top stand when it is removed.
These are a well specced car for the era but a few of the desirable options fitted include rear seat, heated front seats, headlamp wash and Blaupunkt sound system.
The Mercedes has covered 92000 miles from new and comes with a fabulous service history which has only ever been done with either Mercedes main dealers or Mercedes specialists.
We have just had it mot’d and it passed with not one single advisory, the car wants for absolutely nothing other than a new custodian to pamper and enjoy.
Being a later registered car our SL benefits from a galvanised body shell which is a big plus.
These Mercedes are fabulous to drive and perform really well and perfect for long distance cruising.
