"An elegant and confidential popular French car".
In the mid-1950s, Simca introduced the Océane and Plein-Ciel in a bid to conquer the luxury car segment.
The Plein-Ciel sports an elegant 2-door coupé body signed and produced by Facel-Metallon, the workshop responsible for the finest French cars of the era!
Our example joined the previous owner's museum in 2002. It was then immobilized and displayed in the Facel-Vega corner. In 2025, it was purchased by the current owner, who had it restarted by his own workshop.
Today, the car runs quite well, but a regular service is in order. We also note a few traces of corrosion, visible on the condition report!
Rare on the market, Simca Plein-Ciel cars are among the most attractive popular French cars ever produced. For a reasonable entry price, this is an interesting opportunity to drive a different and very reliable car!
