Fresh into stock, this absolutely gorgeous 1961 Ariel Leader 250 with matching numbers. Totally restored in c2006 with a complete engine rebuilt with +20 pistons. We believe it was owned by the same gentlemen from 1993 to 2025. The motorcycle is supplied with lots of restoration pictures. and detailed information and receipts etc in the large history file. This was obviously his pride and joy as there are labels every where, he even had copies of the original vinyl bags that go in the side panels! Chrome is excellent on the rims and silencers. According to a label under the seat, it was last on the road in 2007 when he drained the carb and removed the battery. It's the only Leader we have ever seen with lifting handle to put it not he centre stand still in place, please see picture of it in the extended position. Engine turns over with good compression, but no attempt has been made to start it. It's a nice project to fettle with and get it ready for the upcoming summer. Be quick, it's sensibly priced, so it won't be here long.
