This BJ40 Land Cruiser is ready for any road trip, terrain, or adventure you’ve got in mind. Running the original and famously reliable 2977cc B diesel engine with a 4-speed gearbox, front locking hubs, and solid axles — you won’t be getting stuck… if anything, you’ll be the one towing out a Land Rover or two. The engine is very healthy and doesn’t miss a beat. You’ll be impressed by the pull and grunt it provides.

The bodywork is solid and original, having spent its life in rural, dry areas of Australia. It has been repainted once, and you can clearly see there’s no filler — in some areas it’s rubbed back to bare metal. The patina really adds to its charm.

There are a few small spots of surface rust which have been treated, but the underbody and chassis are clean and very solid with no history of repairs. You’ve also got the option to remove the hardtop, doors, or even fold the windscreen down if you really want that open-air feel.
