1953 MG TD 1250 Xpag
Finished in Old English White with Green leather.
Not our normal sort of offering as it is not our usual ( shiny offering ) but a great car from long term ownership (32) years but sadly now for sale due to the owners passing.
Purchased by the last owner in 1994 for £12000 which was an absolute fortune then which tells you the high quality the car would have been.
Now showing signs of age with various paint defects as pictured and the interior starting to look a little tired, the underneath appears solid.
The TD was last mot’d in July 2023 with no advisories and according to the mot data base it has not ever had an advisory in over 20 years !
Only covered about 250 miles since its last mot and starts and drives but will obviously need a little recommissioning due to it not being used in about 18 months.
The hood and side screens are in good order and there is a full mohair tonneau cover which is also good.
It was a real wrench for the family to sell this car as it has given plenty of lasting memories including trips to France, family weddings and trips out around the Suffolk coast with grandchildren so it would be really nice to go to a good home and be brought back to the same level it was 32 years ago and hopefully make some more memories!
Comes with various paperwork including bill of sale, newspaper cutting showing the advert from 1994 .
The lovely and distinctive number plate TRB777 is original to the car and retains good value on its own.
