1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback 351 V8, 4-Speed Manual. An exceptional, restored example of the Mach 1 Fastback, finished in Calypso Coral with a black Mach 1 bucket seats and interior. Magnum 500 wheels with brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/ A tyres.
Originally manufactured in New Jersey in 1969, this Mustang was imported to the UK in 1971 and has remained here ever since.
A particularly well-specified example, featuring the correct satin black bonnet treatment with bonnet pins, along with reflective Mach 1 side decals. Specification includes the 351 V8 engine paired with a desirable 4-speed manual gearbox, front disc brakes, Mach 1 bucket seats, centre console, woodgrain interior trim, and the highly sought-after rim-blow steering wheel. Further features include factory seat belts, Magnum 500 wheels, a period-style aftermarket stereo, as well as a spare wheel with tyre and accompanying tool kit.
The car underwent a comprehensive restoration in the early 2000s and continues to present in outstanding condition throughout, a testament to both the quality of the restoration and the care it has received since. The engine bay is exceptionally well presented, with the 351 V8 finished in correct Ford blue.
Recently acquired from long-term ownership, the car has been consistently maintained by The Mustang Workshop, a highly regarded specialist within the Mustang community.
The history file includes a Marti report along with service records and documentation, providing an insight into both the car’s restoration and ownership history over the years.
