Produced for just two years, this highly desirable and increasingly hard-to-find 911 ticks so many boxes; beautiful turbo-style wide arches with the purity of rear wheel drive, a manual gearbox and that unmistakeable air cooled flat-six soundtrack.
Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, this Arctic silver 1997 example brings something extra to the party.
First, notice the way it sits. The stance is lower, more purposeful, and visually perfectly judged. The ride quality remains impressive, making it every bit as enjoyable on the road as it is to look at, the result of a Bilstein B12 suspension package and upgraded polybushes.
And then there are the wheels. Filling the arches perfectly are 18 inch Fuchs with black petals and polished rims; lightweight, strong, and very beautiful.
Of course, it has the Carrera S distinctive split grille rear spoiler, one of the model's defining features, complemented up front by the addition of Turbo-style front brake cooling ducts.
Factory optioned with a sunroof and air conditioning, the inside features heated black leather seats which have been retrimmed with Pepita cloth (Houndstooth) inserts, the rear seats finished to match.
Enhanced with a leather RS steering wheel framing the five aluminium and chrome instrument dials, while a Porsche Classic Navigation system and upgraded speakers front and rear provide discreet modern convenience.
Further benefiting from a front strut brace and Paint Film Protection (PPF) applied to the bonnet, front wings, bumper, lower trim and wing mirrors.
Supported by a documented history comprising 19 services, the most recent completed in May 2026 at 75, 953 miles. Accompanied by a folder of paperwork and invoices, this Carrera S has clearly been maintained to a high standard throughout its life. The clutch was renewed approximately 13, 300 miles ago.
