2000 TOYOTA HILUX 2. 4 TURBO DIESEL 4X4 MK4 SINGLE
A very rare opportunity to acquire a rust-free Mk4 Toyota Hilux 4x4 turbo diesel single cab. It was built early in the year of 2000 at the Toyota Taharah plant in Aichi Prefecture Japan. It was purchased new from Whitehouse Toyota in Kent. It was then delivered in August 2000 to a local school for handicapped children who dry-stored it in a barn on the estate and only saw light-use during this period. The school was based on a now private residential country mansion. It was then sold to a local man in October 2005 who kept it in a barn and only covered 40, 000 miles during the next 20 years. Upon his retirement, it was purchased by a existing customer of ours who enjoyed it for a short period and then sold it to us. It has never been to an auction or advertised on the open-market before. It has covered 99, 000 miles with a substantial service history, including a timing belt replacement and recent prop shaft replacement. It has NEVER had a single advisory on corrosion from new. It is completely standard and not been modified in any way. Other Mk4 Hi lux's currently offered in the market place cannot match this statement. Please understand this is a very special find and a fantastic investment. RUST FREE Toyota hi lux's are incredibly hard to find. We have decided to leave it all 'original' as we are strong believers in "its only original once". The paintwork is the original (other than a touch-up). The cosmetic 'dings' and 'dents' are to be expected on a 26 year old truck and are easily rectified which we can do, however, we feel its best preserved. The original decals and badges remain and its only period accessory is the Eagle 4X4 tonneau cover which was purchased at point of sale. It is complete with all three support bars+ original Toyota TF4001 radio cassette player with the device passport present.
