Stunningly finished (AML Special) Morning Frost White, over Obsidian Black hides with Ivory stitching, we are delighted to offer to market, for the first time, this superb, low mileage Vanquish S.
Another glorious ‘last of the line’ 1st generation Gaydon model, launched in 2016, at the end of a near 15 year run of highly successful models, from the DB9 onwards, the Vanquish S was offered updated styling, greater power output and sharper handling of Aston Martin’s Super GT, the Vanquish.
The naturally-aspirated 5. 9 litre V12 engine, was updated to produce 595 bhp (up from 565 bhp) and the calibration of the 8-speed Touchtronic III transmission was revised to deliver faster gearshifts and greater refinement at low speeds. Suspension damper internals, spring rates and anti-roll bar bushes were also re-tuned to give the Vanquish S a keener edge, without compromising its ability to deliver supple ride quality on demand.
Distinguished from the Vanquish by a new aerodynamic package. Fashioned from exposed carbon fibre, the revised and more aesthetically attractive front splitter delivers a reduction in frontal lift without a significant increase in drag. The new rear diffuser combined with visually striking new quad exhaust outlets give followers no doubt which model they are tracking and one of the best exhaust notes of any Aston Martin.
With a retail price starting at £199, 950 and the arrival of the 2nd century models to turn the heads of prospective buyers, it is no surprise that sales of the model were relatively modest, with just 532 examples produced for worldwide consumption, 212 for the UK RHD market.
