Subject to a £15K restoration in 2009, this lovely MGB Roadster comes to us with a huge history file covering the restoration itself and many invoices from maintenance and previous work carried out. The work completed is fully documented and is accompanied by photos. More recently the gearbox and oversrive have been overhauled and previously it has had a reconditioned Ivor Searle engine, there are further bills for work on the brakes etc.
Finished in Snowberry white, which is very similar to Leyland white, the bodywork remains in very solid condition with little deterioration over the past 15 years although there is some microblisters in the paint but overall, the car remains most attractive.
The trim was obviously replaced during the restoration and the black vinyl, piped in white, is in great shape, as are the carpets and trims.
As you would expect, the car drives very well with a willing engine, precise gearbox and surefooted handling and brakes.
Overall, an excellent entry level classic offering outstanding value.
