We are delighted to offer this superb 1981 Yamaha RD350LC, a particularly fine example of one of the most significant and sought-after Japanese performance motorcycles of the early Eighties.
Known affectionately to enthusiasts as the ‘Elsie’, the RD350LC represented a considerable leap forward in middleweight motorcycle design. Its 347cc liquid-cooled two-stroke parallel-twin engine, six-speed gearbox and lightweight chassis combined to deliver the vivid performance and exceptional agility for which the model remains so highly regarded. More than four decades later, the RD350LC continues to occupy a special place in the affections of collectors and riders alike.
This example has been the subject of a comprehensive restoration, with an extensive photographic record documenting the work undertaken. The result is a motorcycle of excellent presentation, restored with evident care and attention to detail while preserving the distinctive character and appearance of Yamaha’s celebrated LC.
