4. 25 ltr, 8500kms, Ex-Soviet Russian Military. Imported from Slovakia where it was based.
Registered as 1971 and therefore Tax exempt(Historic Tax £nil) Also registered as Mot exempt.
This truck is in extremely good condition. For info on these legendary Gaz 66 trucks just look online, especially Ditch's site which is a comprehensive source of information for Gaz66. also check out videos online to see how awesome these trucks are and capable off road.
Converted to LPG and runs perfectly on LPG. I occasionally run on petrol just to keep everything in good working order, but it is happy on LPG, returning a petrol equivalent of 17-18 mpg when running on gas. Better fuel economy than a WW2 Jeep!
Complete with fully working CTIS, diesel rear box heater etc. It even has it's original giger counter.
4 spare tyres (stomils)
Finally decided to sell my beloved truck.
I have owned it for the past 5 years and have enjoyed driving it mainly to shows in the South West of England. I have covered over 7000kms, mainly around Cornwall and Devon and for that reason it is very well sorted.
Unfortunately, I don't have anywhere to really use this truck to its full potential and have never really driven it off-road (which is a shame) but as a result its had an extremely easy life.
This truck is a joy to drive, turns heads everywhere it goes and would make an awesome expedition vehicle.
Based in Cornwall. Viewing welcome.
Never advertised for sale prior to this advert.
I am seeking a ww2 vehicle, possibly a Dodge or even a despatch bike (BSA/ Norton/ Matchless) and map be interested in a PX.
Please contact me for further info and photos.
Thanks.
