Beschreibung
Priced low for a quick winter sale.
This very rare and lovely Hillman has a delightful body made by the renowned Coachbuilders Carbodies of Coventry.
It is a three position design which makes the car fully enclosed, A Sedanca de Ville (Roof open above front passengers) or an open four seater tourer.
This type of body would have been very expensive in its day and usualy fitted to Rolls Royce and very high quality cars.
Unlike draughty tourers with side screens that slot in to place it has wind up windows and is well sealed against the elements when the hood is up.
The car is in lovely condition and being an older restoration has mellowed nicely.
The hood has been replaced recently in Double Duck and the leather interior is excellent most of it being original.
Invoices prove that a full engine rebuild has been carried out.
The engine runs very sweet and a large file of invoices show that the car has been well restored and cared for.
She is on a V5C and the original Buff log book.
There is a genuine workshop manual and some lovely original sales brochures and artwork in the large file.
The tool Kit in the boot appears to be complete.
Finished in airforce blue this civilian model is very rare indeed before Hillman switched to Military versions.
She atracts much interest wherever she goes and must be the ultimate Hillman Minx to own.
