Description

Built by Piaggio & Co in Pontedera, Tuscany, Italy, the Vespa 150 MK1 (VBA) was introduced in 1958 and 72, 003 were built before being replaced by the MK2 (VBB) in 1960. This model enjoyed great success, thanks to its elegance and functional qualities and it use by Olympians at the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960.

This stunning Vespa 150 MK1 - Chassis No: VBA1T44648 - was manufactured and first registered in Italy in January 1959. .
It remained in Italy before being imported to the UK in 2004 and was purchased by an Italian restaurateur in London in 2015 and sent immediately back to Italy where it was fully rebuilt to almost "as new" condition by the family's Piaggio scooter dealership in Southern Italy.

Almost everything on the scooter has been replaced and it really is in exceptional condition. The 145. 5cc Engine was also rebuilt and it has only covered less than 500Kms since coming back to the UK. It is finished in the lovely and original Blue Metallic from the period and has new Black vinyl seats, new rubber floor mats, new Tyres, 3 Speed Gearbox, new Chrome fittings and the period number plate 770 UXA.

These models have started to rise in price over the last few years and it is a lovely scooter that you can enjoy riding and one that will continue to rise in value.

Upon sale it will have a new MOT and come with a 6 month Warranty.
